Program Requirements

1. Licensed Electrician Requirement

• All CEEA™ Professionals must be licensed electricians in their state or jurisdiction.

• Proof of current licensing is required to secure territory rights.

2. Professional Certification Fee

• A Professional Certification Fee of $1,000 is required Annually.

• Renewal: $1000 annually as long as the Professional remains active in the program.

• This fee covers certification processing, territory setup, training access, and ongoing program administration.

3. Initial Inventory Commitment

• Minimum of (5) CEEA™ Energy Monitors – $1,250 (5 Zip Codes or Less)

• Minimum of (10) CEEA™ Energy Monitors – $2,500 (6-8 Zip Codes)

• Minimum of (15) CEAA™ Energy Monitors – $3,750 (9 Zip Codes and Up)

• Minimum of (10) Smart CEEA™ Plugs – $500

• Total Initial Inventory: $1,750, $3,000, or $4,250 (Depending on Zip Codes)

4. Minimum Inventory Rule (Auto-Replenishment)

• Each Professional must maintain a minimum of 5 monitors in active inventory.

• When stock falls to 1 unit remaining, the home office will automatically bill the credit card on file for 4 replacement units, ensuring the minimum is always maintained.

5. Territory Fees

• $75.00 per month for main zip code, or

• $900 annually per zip code.

• Fees secure exclusive territory rights, ongoing support, and lead referrals.

6. Insurance Requirement

• All CEEA™ Professionals must obtain and maintain general liability insurance.

• A valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) must list both Certified Electrical Energy Auditor (CEEA™) and Electrical Code Academy, Inc. as Additional Insured.

• Proof of insurance must be submitted prior to territory acceptance.

• This insurance requirement indemnifies CEEA™ and Electrical Code Academy, Inc. against any claims, losses, or liabilities related to the Professional’s work.

7. Additional Territories

• Professionals may secure multiple zip codes.

• Each additional zip code requires: $50.00 Monthy Fee (or $600.00 Annually).

Optional Training

3-Day Hands-On Training at CEEA™ Home Office

• Cost: $2,500.00

• Includes lodging for 3 nights

• Flights and meals not included

• This training is optional but highly recommended for Professionals who want to:

  • Gain in-depth experience with CEEA™ Branded Products

  • Practice real-world energy auditing techniques with expert guidance

  • Network with other CEEA™ Professionals

Compliance & Protection

• All CEEA™ Branded Products must be purchased and registered through Electrical Code Academy, Inc.

• All warranties remain with the original manufacturers.

• Insurance is mandatory: each Professional must maintain liability coverage and provide proof of Additional Insured status naming CEEA™ and Electrical Code Academy, Inc.

• CEEA™ and Electrical Code Academy, Inc. are fully indemnified from all risks, liabilities, or claims arising from the Professional’s use of products, audits, or installations.

• Territory rights are valid only while Certification Fees, insurance, and monthly/annual fees are current.

• Inventory replenishment is mandatory and automatically billed to the Professional’s credit card on file.

• Professionals are bound by the CEEA™ NDA and Code of Conduct to protect trade secrets and program integrity.

• Only licensed electricians with proper insurance may join the CEEA™ Professional Program.

How to Get Started
